POGOH is Pittsburgh’s bikeshare system. Bikeshare is meant for residents, students, and visitors to take short trips around Pittsburgh. Customers can choose a pricing plan that works for them and proceed to rent, ride, and return bicycles from official POGOH stations throughout the city. POGOH was formerly named Healthy Ride, but underwent a complete equipment replacement and rebrand in 2022. POGOH is owned and operated by Bike Share Pittsburgh, a 501c3 non-profit located in Pittsburgh’s Strip District.
No. Customers can register on POGOH.com or by calling Customer Support. Mobility Justice Members will receive a Membership Card at registration, and all other customers can request a card for a fee by contacting Customer Support. Tap your Membership Card on the dock of any bike you wish to rent to unlock.
E-assist bicycles still require the rider to pedal, but an electric motor automatically activates to assist the rider while climbing hills and getting started after a stop. Trust us, it’s awesome.
Healthy Ride underwent a complete system replacement and re-brand in 2022. Bike Share Pittsburgh still owns and operates the bikeshare system using new equipment and software from PBSC, a leader in the bikeshare industry. All of the Healthy Ride bicycles found new homes through the Recycle A Bicycle program that donated 400+ bikes to local non-profits and schools.
Testimonials
I love biking to the Strip and along the river trails due to bike lanes, flat routes and nice scenery.

I can easily and quickly get to my destinations. I use [the] bike share program multiple times a day and it has changed my life. It is much faster than walking, the customer service representatives are so kind and helpful, and it is an amazing program that everyone should become a part of.
