Mobility Justice Membership

$10 / year

$10 for 1 year (365 days) of riding.

Annual cost includes unlimited 60-minute rentals for both pedal bike and e-assist bike rentals.

The Mobility Justice Membership is designed for Pittsburgh residents who receive government assistance including SNAP, LIHEAP, and Medicare/Medicaid. This pass is designed to make bikeshare accessible to persons whose income limitations prevent them from using bikeshare at its standard pricing.

How do I submit my SNAP, LIHEAP, Medicare, or Medicaid information?

Persons who qualify can submit necessary documentation via the automated email you receive at registration. If the automated email does not appear in your inbox, be sure to check your spam folder. Complete the form, and you'll receive confirmation within 48 hours from our Customer Support team.

Is there a limit on how many rides I can take in a day? A month? A year?

No! Unlimited means unlimited. Take as many 60-minute rides (or less) as you want throughout the year!

What if I go over my 60-minutes in a single trip?

Should you ever go over your ride time, you'll be charged 50% of the standard pay-as-you-go rate.

How do I rent once I have an Annual Membership?

Download the PBSC App or the Transit app.

Scan the QR code of the bike you want to rent, remove the bike from the dock, and ride!

What if I don't have a smartphone or simply don't want to use an app?

No problem. All Mobility Justice Members receive a POGOH Membership Card for FREE; just include your mailing address at registration to receive a card automatically! If you don't receive your Membership Card within a few days of ordering your Mobility Justice Membership, contact POGOH Customer Support to request your Membership Card: hello@pogoh.com / 412-595-9421

Can I rent more than one bike at a time?

No. The Mobility Justice Membership is designed for a single rider. Want to ride with a friend? Have them create their own POGOH account.

How can I ride with my child if I can only rent one bike and they don't have their own SNAP card?

Riders must be at least 18-years of age to use the system. Contact Customer Support hello@pogoh.com / 412-595-9421 to add a dependent to your POGOH account. A secondary membership fee will be charged to your card on file for $10 +tax for your dependent's membership. Master accounts are responsible for a dependent's use of the system and any fees associated with their account.

How do you return a POGOH bike?

All POGOH bikes must be returned to an official POGOH station and properly locked into an available dock. Available stations and docks can be viewed with the PBSC app and Transit app.

What happens if I don't return a bike to a station or leave my bike away from a station?

To conclude a rental on your POGOH account, bikes must be returned to an official POGOH station and secured properly in an available POGOH dock by firmly pushing the bike in the dock and holding it there until the green confirmation light appears on the left side of the dock indicating the bike is secured.

We rely on our customers to use the system as it was designed so that we can continue to provide a reliable service.

Service fees* associated with improper returns:

  • Bike found at station unsecured = $12.50 (+tax) service fee + usage fees
  • Bike located away from a station and unattended = $25 (+tax) service fee + usage fees (fee increases for second and third offenses)
  • Bike unsecured at station resulting in theft = $25 (+tax) Recovery Fee + usage fees
  • Replacement fee for a standard pedal bike = $1,000 +tax
  • Replacement fee for an e-assist bike = $2,500 +tax

*Service fees are subject to change. Please read POGOH's Terms & Conditions for the most up-to-date rider's rental agreement.

What do I do if a station is full?

Check open dock availability in the PBSC or Transit app before you ride. If you arrive at a station and it's full, you'll need to find another station to return. The POGOH team is constantly rebalancing stations so this instance is rare, but we encourage all riders to plan ahead and use the app to avoid this issue.
