Join the City of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, Outdoor Inclusion Coalition, the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DNCR) and Adaptive POGOH for an Outdoors for All event on Saturday, August 15 from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Allegheny Commons, West Ohio Street, Pittsburgh.
Launched in 2024, Outdoors for All Day celebrates the value of accessible, welcoming outdoor spaces across Pennsylvania. What began as a single celebration has grown into Outdoors for All Month each July.
This year’s event will be a fun celebration featuring organizations from across the Pittsburgh region that help people connect with outdoor recreation, nature and community. Visitors can enjoy interactive family-friendly activities, environmental education, games, music, food and more.
Registration is optional but helps event organizers plan for language interpreters and additional logistics. Register using the QR code below, or through this link!
Adaptive POGOH is excited to be partnering with the Blind Outdoor Leisure Development group this month to expand opportunities for connection, community and tandem cycling.
Join us on Wednesday, August 19th from 1:30pm – 3:30pm for a ride on a tandem bike or a tandem trike!
We will also be sharing information on how to volunteer with BOLD as a tandem bicycle captain for different rides! Whether you are an experienced tandem captain, or brand new to tandem cycling, we have opportunities for you.
We hope to see you there! For questions about the event, please email adaptivepogoh@pghbikeshare.org.
Adaptive POGOH will be CLOSED on Sunday, August 30th for Pedal Pittsburgh and will not be accepting reservations for this day. Check out the event at https://pedalpgh.org/schedule/ and come visit POGOH at the finish line!
