Juneteenth in Pittsburgh is one of the city’s biggest celebrations of community, culture, music, and Black excellence — with events happening across Downtown, Point State Park, Mellon Park, Market Square, and beyond throughout the weekend.

This year, you can celebrate while exploring the city by bike with a free POGOH Day Pass on June 19.

Simply use code JUNE19 in the PBSC app to unlock free rides and easily travel between Juneteenth events happening across Pittsburgh.

WPA Juneteenth Homecoming Celebration at Point State Park

One of the largest celebrations of the weekend takes place at Point State Park with the WPA Juneteenth Homecoming Celebration Main Stage featuring nationally recognized artists, local performers, food vendors, and community programming.

Juneteenth festivals are truly the heart of the holiday — lively, family-friendly gatherings filled with music, culture, food, and community connection. Expect a packed main stage with rotating performances throughout the day, rows of vendors spotlighting Black-owned businesses, food trucks serving barbecue, soul food, and other local favorites, plus kids’ activities, community organizations, and cultural exhibits woven throughout the festival grounds.

These celebrations are designed for people to stay awhile, whether that means catching a few performances or spending the entire afternoon exploring everything the festival has to offer. Admission is typically free, and supporting local vendors is encouraged as part of the experience.

Saturday, June 20 Performances:

  • Lloyd
  • Leela James
  • Musiq Soulchild
  • Ill-Harmonic Orchestra

Sunday, June 21 Performances:
