Free Ride Day: Friday, May 20

Bike to Work Day = POGOH Free Ride Day!

As is bikeshare tradition, in honor of national Bike to Work Day, POGOH is celebrating with a system-wide Free Ride Day! However, the Free Ride Day is going to look a little different this year with the new POGOH system; unlike in years past where there were no time limits, we’re providing unlimited, free 30-minute rides. If you go over your 30-minutes in a single trip, you’ll be charged the Pay-As-You-Go rate ($3.50/30 minutes for pedal bikes, $5/30 minutes for e-assist bikes). The goal with the new time limit is to make more bikes available for more people throughout the day, and also to keep e-assist bikes charged and ready for more riders!

Bike to Work Day Commuter Cafes:

The POGOH team will also be joining our friends at Bike Pittsburgh at 2 of their pop-up Commuter Cafe’s on 5/20 from 7am – 11am in Schenley Plaza and Market Square. Stop by for a coffee, a pastry, grab some swag, and/or just to say hi! Bike Pittsburgh has a whole weeks worth of events happening May 16 – 20 in honor of Bike to Anywhere Week, so be sure to check out other opportunities to celebrate biking in the Burgh.
