POGOH Pricing Update 2026

We tweaked a few things…

POGOH Pricing Update – Effective April 1, 2026

As POGOH continues to grow, we are updating our pricing structure to reflect the operational demands of maintaining and expanding our system. These updates will take effect on April 1, 2026. Unlike many bikeshare systems in the U.S., POGOH operates a predominantly e-assist bike fleet. While pedal bikes are still available, more than 85% of rides in Pittsburgh are taken on e-assist bikes. Our goal is to keep bikeshare affordable while ensuring the system remains sustainable, reliable, and available for riders across the city.

Membership Changes

As part of this update, the Monthly Membership will be retired. After retiring the Flex Pass in 2025, we found that the monthly option was no longer the best fit for how many riders use the system today. We encourage riders to choose the option that best fits their riding habits:

  • Frequent riders: Annual Membership
  • Occasional riders: Single Ride
  • Visitors: Day Pass

Mobility Justice Membership

We remain committed to keeping bikeshare accessible. Pricing for Mobility Justice Members will not increase. To continue offering unlimited rides for $10 per year, ride time will be adjusted from 1 hour to 30 minutes. This change helps encourage quick trips and improves bike availability across the system.

Per-Minute Pricing

Perhaps the biggest change to our pricing structure is the introduction of per-minute pricing for Single Ride trips. This change will also impact how overage fees are calculated across other passes. Our goal with this update is simple: you only pay for the time you actually use the bike, rather than being charged under the previous 30-minute block model.

Updated Ride Options (Effective April 1, 2026)

  • $0.19 / minute pedal bikes
  • $0.32 / minute e-assist bikes

Looking Ahead

Thank you for your understanding as we make these updates. As POGOH continues to grow, we remain committed to optimizing the system so it can serve Pittsburgh riders and communities for years to come. – The POGOH Team
